Bay FC Donates a Portion of Pride Merchandise Sales to The LGBTQ Youth Space

The LGBTQ Youth Space, a program of Caminar, is delighted that Bay FC donated a portion of all net proceeds from their Pride Collection to the program. Bay FC’s Pride Collection celebrates the LGBTQ+ community in the Bay Area.

The Youth Space is a community drop-in center and mental health program for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, and ally youth and young adults ages 13-25 who live in Santa Clara County.

Running for Wellness: Mental Health Matters 5K

In mid-May, Caminar CEO Mark Cloutier and Board of Directors Member Joanne Wu Jennings participated in the 2024 StarVista Mental Health Matters 5k, and our team hosted a table to share information about Caminar with the San Mateo County community!

Our Gratitude to Valle Monte League

Caminar is thrilled to announce a recent grant of $110,000 from our long-time partners, Valle Monte League. Valle Monte League’s generous support is invested in Caminar's school-­based services, ­abuse prevention services, and LBGTQ+ services, as well as counseling services, inclusive of the services that are designed specifically for those who are Deaf or hard ­of ­hearing. Valle Monte League has been a partner in this important work since 1954; thank you!
