THANK YOU: You exceeded our expectations!

Our most sincere gratitude to all who attended and contributed to In Concert with Caminar on October 9. We are overwhelmed by your generosity and delighted to share that we exceeded our fundraising goal - and expectations - for In Concert with Caminar. Together, as part of the event, we raised $341,000 for Caminar's Behavioral Health Equity Fund. Thank you!

The need is greater than ever, and we will continue to raise funds for Caminar's Behavioral Health Equity Fund throughout the holiday season.

 GIVING TUESDAY: 11.30.21

The World's Biggest Day of Generosity

Mark your calendars for November 30, 2021 - GivingTuesday!
GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a day that encourages people to do good. The idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate.

This GivingTuesday, we invite you to contribute to Caminar's Behavioral Equity Fund. Behavioral health care is life-changing, and inequity will not go away without access to behavioral health care for all.

 INSTITUTIONAL GIVING UPDATE

We are grateful for a generous grant from the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative.

As San Mateo County mental health services providers and organizations address the continued effects of COVID-19 on mental health and wellness, the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI) committed $400,000 to support local mental health programs - including a $50,000 grant for Caminar.

COVID-19 has had a profound effect on the behavioral health of our most at-risk communities. Without adequate insurance or income for behavioral health care, individuals and families may experience enduring emotional suffering leading to preventable homelessness, justice system involvement, and hospitalizations. Access to behavioral health care could change that trajectory. Support from CZI will assist Caminar in sustaining and increasing services for San Mateo County community members who are most in need of our treatment and support services.
