REAL SOLUTIONS THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Mental health issues continue to impact the most vulnerable youth and families in the Bay Area. Our school-based mental health programs reached over 1,000 youth and families last year, and we provided specialized case management to over 50 of the most at-risk participants, like Rosa:

Rosa began to experience mental health challenges when schools closed. Isolating in her room, she stopped engaging with family and logging into school. Her grades plummeted, and her parents grew very worried.

Rosa was invited to join an online support group with our school-based mental health team, who also connected her to resources to help with the challenges of online school. In just four weeks, Rosa reengaged with family and school. Her grades went from failing to passing, and her mood shifted from depressed to healthy.

Prevention, early intervention, and individualized care are crucial for the mental well-being of our next generation. Your donation today would mean the world to those who receive the treatment and care they need – and deserve.

CELEBRATING RESILIENCE, HOPE, AND PRIDE

LGBTQ+ youth experience positive health outcomes when they have safe, supportive, and affirming environments and relationships. Our LGBTQ Youth Space in Santa Clara County offers LGBTQ+ youth a safe space to be themselves, receive affirming support and care, and thrive.

Riley, a Youth Space participant since the age of 13, recently shared what the program means to them:

"The Youth Space has had immeasurable benefits on my life. Being able to build relationships with other people in the LGBTQ+ community literally saved my life. I realized that there was hope for me; that despite the bullying and abuse I was experiencing, I too could overcome adversity.”

We invite you to celebrate Pride month with us by donating today to help others experience the same resilience, hope, and pride as Riley.
